FGHS Bands is a program based in Forest Grove, OR, which includes a marching band, pep band, concert band, winds ensemble and symphonic orchestra. With a focus on tradition and dedication, whenever there’s a performance approaching these band work extra hard to exceed their own high expectations while staying true to what others come to expect from the bands.

ABOUT THE BAND

All About the Kids

FGHS Bands under the direction of Stewart Schlazer, have restarted the marching band tradition at FGHS. In October 2022, the marching band went to their first competition event in 15 years. The kids in the marching band also play in the school's various other band programs.

The FGHS Bands Boosters want to encourage the students in their pursuit of music. The school's program needs funds for instruments, repairs, maintenance and computer equipment in order to keep expanding and be able to perform at their best. These kids are talented and deserve adequate resources to reach their full potential. They have come so far in such a short time with what they have. Imagine what they could do with more.
